• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not sure it's really fit for purpose. It certainly won't fix the illegal worker issue.

I'd go after the likes of deliveroo before wasting any more of the tax payers money.

Don't use cash myself, can see why there's still a huge place for it in society though.

We’ve already got all our information out there digitally. Bank cards, loyalty cards, gym membership all on our phones, then you’ve got online shopping and banking, your sat nav / google maps etc. it’s only those that are up to no good that don’t leave a digital footprint every day of their lives. CCTV, ring doorbells, biometrics in work.

This one definitely crosses the political divide mind.

I'm up for things like driving licenses and passports going digital. A brand new Digital ID to go along with both of those, not so much.

I've been cashless since the start of covid, if a shop or pub wants cash (which they are perfectly entitled to) I'll move on.
Only tended to use cash when getting a taxi. Since the introduction of Uber that's gone out of the window.

I only use it for matchday parking down the football. Can’t think of anywhere else.
