• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Another gutless performance

Sheehan needs to get on top of this, now! Too many attempts not taken. Too many opportunities , wasted.

Leicester saw spaces and took their shots.
TheSwans don't take their chances unless within the 2yrd box.

I don't like these international breaks when we should be doubling down on important training! Today's game was squandered! The team MUST take chances!

Now this defo is LaJolla 🤣🤣. Gutless is very strong.. Very!

Luke Williams-esque football creeping in, we did it against hull, again against Leicester, need to sort this out before it comes back.

Gutless ? FFS. Leicester had quality beyond us. Should have started Galbraith and Inoussa though - Cullen and Eom ineffective sorry. Not fussed though on the back and sideways passing, but Leicester v.well organised also, besides their quality

these freaks are only back on here as they struggled to beat another team in the doldrums of league 1.

My mate is an orient fan and he said that in any other day they'd have been 3 or 4 clear of the scummers.

Overreaction? No.... It's an attention grabber though, for sure!

But look at it this way... the team need to take shots when the opportunity arises. Instead they're passing backwards too often and holding the ball when Leicester did not.

The ones here mocking this as an overreaction really don't see the point here. The ball isn't going to get itself into the net! We've got a great team, let down by indecisiveness and delay at times where confidence is needed!

If the courage to take shots and opportunities isn't there, what do you call that if not "gutless"? Leicester were always going to be a tough game - shooting as soon as the opportunity arises is what won them the game today. Swansea need to be more clinical and predatorial to beat these sides!

The chances are there - the team needs to act on them.

NO GUTS, NO GLORY.

Before this game Leicester had only 2 shots on target in their previous 2 games, of course they’ll then go and bang 3 in against us.

Well we seem to be good at obliging teams. Think Birmingham have only won 1 of their last 6 or 7 games. No prizes for guessing who they beat.

I wouldn’t say gutless but the indecisiveness around the opposition box is a big problem for us at the moment, especially considering we only seem to attack down the wings this season. It just seems to stop as soon as we get to the final third.

We’re second bottom for touches in the opposition box, got to improve this if we want to be competing higher up. Different contexts but looking at someone like Coventry at the moment, it’s night and day. They’ve had more than double our touches in opposition penalty areas.
