Stamenic

33% after 9 (NINE) matches.

It's a disaster. Sack the board.
Im not sayimg ita a disaster just answerinf a post which gave a stat.
Sheehans record to date this season is no better than his predeccsors in the same period though we have scored two more goals but conceded 3 more.....and all this with an improved squad.

ITS not a disaster but its no better than Williams

It will be interesting to see whether it’s better than Williams in another 9 or 12 or 15 games time.
If it isn’t he’ll be toast.

Williams was doing absolutely fine until Christmas last year. If we’re in a similar position again then we’ll be solidly in mid table and that would be completely acceptable. We probably wouldn’t be a very exciting season, but not something to be turfing the manager out for.

The difference between Sheehan and Williams is like night and day.

With Williams I never got the sense, even once, that he was getting the best out of what he had available to him. Sheehan certainly did that last season, even if he's struggling to repeat the trick so far this year.

Sheehan also doesn't babble on in Martinesque during most interviews, so there's that too.

It is absolutely mental that some want to claim otherwise, do these people even possess eyes for goodness' sake.
Totally agree, the football on offer may not be Brazil 1970's just yet. We always look to get the ball forward as soon as possible, if you watch the players their heads are always up looking forward, doesn't always come off, at least we're having ago.

Bristol City away last season was quite fun, 2,000 away fans singing sideways and backwards every where we go followed by a chorus of we're fucking shit, should tell you all you need to know about the difference between Williams and Sheehan.

Some people seem to be obsessed with stats.

Williams had no idea how to change a game, he had one style of play and we could all predict what subs he'd make pre match.

Another knee jerk reaction appointment like Martin was. We got let down last minute and it was a case of let's appoint anyone.

Yeah, I’m thinking next February or March is the time for any comparisons or reviews - not 9 games, that’s loopy. Unless we’re right down at the arse end and having 2 shots per game, which I don’t think will happen.

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t comment or rant on on individual games in the meantime! (Covering my arse 😆).

That's what is concerning me slightly with Sheehan at the moment. He was always likely to swap Idah for Vip yesterday around the hour mark. The fact that Vipi was having another good game didn't enter into the decision. Almost as if it was planned. Likewise when he hooked Eom.

Midfield was clearly our problem yesterday yet two out of his first three subs were forwards.

Absolutely nothing in a passing/attacking sense was going through our midfield yesterday and Cullen was chasing shadows all day. Seeing as everything we were producing was coming through our wingers and fullbacks, I would have been interested to see Idah on for Cullen and us having that extra body in the penalty area when we were looking to cross. Of course that would be damningly close to the seemingly banned 4-4-2 formation.

I still maintain that we'd be more fluid with an AM in the setup, just not Cullen. Could have swapped him for Inoussa and moved Eom, who was also having a good game, into the middle.

Overall I think if you're going to rest Galbraith then you have to play Yalcouye as he's the only other one we've seen who can consistently carry the ball forward. Like LoB did last season. Franco is a little terrier but not someone who dictates play. Stamenic more of a physical presence.

Vip and Idah are slightly different forwards from what I’ve seen.

Idah is less static than Vip (which isn’t a criticism)

If you swapping a forward we need to give them enough time to get a feel for the game to make a difference.

My frustration with the changes up top are they’ve come too late in games
