Unintended impact of COVID. From when pubs reopened under restrictions and we all had to stand 2m away from each other.

Fine when we were meant to all be social distancing, but utterly f****** stupid now everything is back to normal.

There's a nice long bar there. Fill it end to end. Let's have 10 small queues instead of one stupid long one snaking out of the front door. What is the matter with people.

Bar staff often get frustrated by it and ask people to stop queuing single file.

Depends on the bar staff. I've noticed the older ones (30+) will call it out, but the younger ones seem happy to just let it happen because it's "normal" to them. It's ridiculous.

In Sweden they hated the 2 meter rule. They were perfectly happy with their pre-Covid 2m 50.
