• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It isn't, I always love when people tell other people what another person is trying to say.

It was more to do with the person who asked the question, Sheehan had no other option but to answer it so he is not at fault here.
So you’re jus being your usual drama queen again.

No need to reply. 👍🏼

We all know he is an absolute class player but why are we talking him up in local outlets about clubs being interested etc.

Keep quiet and let the clubs do the hard work to discover him. It's as if we are trying to create the hype to get teams interested.

If we have no interest in selling him then let's just zip it up and keep a lock on it.
Was discussed on the Totally Football podcast this afternoon so it’s safe to say his performances for club and country have not gone unnoticed further afield.

The signs are that we did really well to get him here and that we’ll make a massive profit on him in the fullness of time.

That’s probably jinxed it.
Ok, decent reply and back on track.

I certainly think the club see an asset here and are playing on it and only after 3 months.
Will be interesting to see how they approach it in December/January or even in the summer if he is still here then.

Its football, nothing can be ruled out and it would be naive to think otherwise.

Not get him sold but broaden clubs interest.
He could easily be gone within 12 months but it's crazy what I am hearing and reading after only 3 months at the club.
Mate, it's not like before when one scout was responsible for sourcing players, Premier League clubs are employing 100s of these data merchants and stats gurus, Ratlcliffe at Man Utd sacked about 200 people because they were sh*te

👍

Would be nice if the local press weren't adding to it.
I personally think we can do without distractions like this, I may be wrong but that's just my opinion.

I think we have sacked twice as many in the last couple of years 🤣

Alternatively, Ratcliffe sacked a load of people because he doesn't know anything about running a football club & he's doing a p1ss poor job of it.

I doubt it'll influence a premier league club to make a bid, they'll have been monitoring Galbraith when at Leyton Orient, never mind at us, they'll have portfolios of 1000s of players

Hopefully it doesn't but let the wider press do the questioning.

Genuine question. What exactly do you expect the press to do when one of our players shines on the international stage?

Bigger clubs are going to notice when a player like Galbraith plays well at a higher level than he played at previously, let alone the exposure he's getting with his country. It's not as if we will keep him secret as long as we don't big him up to the media.

It's inevitable that he'll attract interest if he keeps on playing like he is currently, so it's logical for our manager to tell the media how good he is, get even more attention on him. The best possible scenario for us is to get promoted and Galbraith stays here. The second best scenario is lots of clubs want him in the summer and we can drive the price up.

I really don't see it as more complicated than that or anything dubious going on.

Praise his performance and express to the manager that hopefully the player brings that form over with him to the club.
