Tonight's football

Tend to agree there's a clear agenda with some of the detractors.
I only said Leicester battered us, and calling us a midtable side, obvious agenda, for being a rational realist, and unbiased.. people don't like my opinion, shove it

It’s almost like it’s been manufactured…

It’s clear there are agitators about, some with a motive.

Drama is craved either way, if it can’t be immediate success then immediate failure is the next best thing.
Yup. Even the best team in the country, Liverpool, is struggling to bed in several new players so far this season. We're in a similar boat, we've completely revamped our central midfield and signed a number of new wide players/attacking mids and a couple of new strikers.

It takes time, you can't just click your fingers and it magically all knits together. It's only October.

It's getting ridiculous all this bashing of the team and failing to acknowledge when we've done ok.

Over the last few years games against the likes of Leicester and Southampton would be a question of how how many we'd concide.

These days we're competitive and it's not good enough for some.
Hold on now - I saw the highlights of the Southampton game - if that is us being competitive we’ll be lucky to avoid relegation.
I live in Bristol and had the game on the radio - their players were breaking their backs to defend , throwing bodies in the way of the ball and breaking with great speed. They’re fourth in the league and on merit. We deserve nothing because we’re not playing aggressively or competitively.

They also lost one of their players in a tragic accident. Players are human beings. Imagine if you’d lost youre best pal in work forever.

hang on - they lost a team mate in the most tragic of circumstances. I lost a workmate in 2020 and I’m not anywhere near over it. How raw must it be for the Liverpool players? We suffered the same when we lost Besian and the whole welsh squad did the same when they lost Gary Speed. I’m sure that’s a massive factor in Liverpool’s form so far.

Sorry thought I’d lost my first reply!

I'm hesitant to get into this because it's gross to be discussing team performance after the tragic death of a team-mate, but Besian passed away after the end of the Sousa season. We got promoted the next season, so didn't really seem to affect the team's performance?

We could have very easily walked out of the Leicester and Southampton game having conceded 10 goals (really wish this was an exaggeration) if it wasnt for some extreme luck and good goalkeeping.

If that isn't a question of how many we'd concede that idk what is.

How did we get on at their ground last season?

How many did we concede?

We've also been on the other side of what you've described, that's how football works.
