Attendance

Great to see the place full again. It’s good to have people back after they’ve been so inexplicably busy and unable to attend over the last few years 😁

Good to see the ground staff clearing all the plastic from the seats ready for the next high flying opposition 😉😎

There was a woman with a kid and the kid was wearing a full Man City kit,a steward went over and suggested he put his coat on.
The mum has got to be a right melon for allowing her kid in the Swans end with a full Man City kit on… I did make a comment to them displaying my disapproval.

Nice to meet you last Darren by the way 👍🏻

A new couple sat behind us were asking each other "which team's the Swans?".
One of the saddest days of my life was 10 years ago watching the Swans on TV and my father asked me that.
He died a couple of weeks later having suffered from vascular dementia for the last two and a half years of his life.
He took me to the Vetch for the first time in 1966.

Sorry to read that.

Bless him.

A shitty, shitty disease.

Don’t you think it’s actually a bit sad if a little kid can’t wear the kit of the team he supports though?

Lots of youngsters support the teams they see on the tv. Having been in person now, you never know that he may realise that supporting the Swans live is better. I’d hate to think he’ll now just think it’s all a bit scary.

I sat in a game once with a group of fellow Swans season ticket holders and one had brought her grandson who supported Cardiff. (Her grandkids lived in Cardiff snd had a Cardiff Dad and Swansea Mum). He wore their shirt. Only about 8. Everyone was lovely to him.

We did all laugh at him when we won mind…

God, he was in a mood 😂

They can… outside in the playground and local football pitches but not in the home end of the team they’re facing.

Get your parents to get you away tickets or take you to one of their home games.

I know Swans fans who couldn’t get tickets and then to see people wearing Man City shirts in the home end takes the piss.

I don’t blame the kids really… the parents shouldn’t have allowed it and should have brought their kids up better to support their local team.

My kids have no option… they support the Swans or no one 🤣
