We want Sheehan out

Don’t want to become a sacking club but at this point what do we do because it’s clearly not working weather that’s down to O Dea coming in he seemed quite stubborn in his joining interview, but it’s certainly not like Sheehan at the end of last season. Either way if he goes I thank him for what he’s done in the two troubled spells we had he’s certainly no smug arrogant up himself Martin.

I'd love it if he turns it around and gets the team playing like they did towards the end of last season. The belief he can do it is wearing quite thin at the moment.
Fair comments. It's not that bad patch the issue for me it's that the tactics are getting worse and worse. People can go on about its been a period of difficult matches, but we look like a team too scared to shoot and also open so much. It won't get any easier after international break. He is on borrowed time now.

Read some days ago the name Michael Carrick mentioned with being possible replacement. cant remember where.

For me the performance and result today was catastrophic for Sheehan
One of his biggest arguments all season has been that we have always been in a game even if we didn't create a lot

Today we were neither. One speculative long range shot and two touches in the opposition box was all we had to show for the first half. A change in formation brought an immediate improvement and for 10-15 minutes we looked dangerous, then Key's tendancy lately to go missing meant that he played a part in the next two goals we conceded by not being where he was meant to be and/or doing what he was meant to do.

Sheehan gave up on formation and shape like he did on Wednesday and just threw attacking bodies on hoping that something would click, instead we conceded another and Ipswich will probably not get an easier afternoon of football all season.

No performance, no result and for me at least, no goodwill and no patience and no trust left in him.

Martin (twice), Duff and Williams all had better records at this stage of the season than we so now.

It's becoming desperate.
That first 45 minutes was absolutely disgusting and it was no coincidence that players were getting frustrated and then some were getting booked.

His team selection and tactics leave a lot to be desired at the moment. The team aren't scoring and we have a striker the club allegedly paid six million pound for.

His perceived inability to see players such as Josh Key aren't performing to the expected standards is also a concern.

Radio Wales sport were even saying it's worse than the month before Williams went.
Ian Walsh was not very complimentary about Sheehan at all when I was driving home.
It certainly ain’t great and today was a low point but until today we’ve not been shipping goals and at least been in the game, like we were with Luke. Confidence is clearly becoming an issue

Can anyone genuinely explain how despite this being our worst points return at 15 games in the Championship since relegation that this is not as bad as Williams or Martin?

Williams' implosion happened at Christmas. Sheehan's has just been a slow dirge

Same here. I've kept telling myself we've been competitive and with the odd bit of luck here and there the result could be different.

The Preston game and the way he just seemed to lose the plot with subs and formation was odd.

I'm also starting to get frustrated with his reluctance to play Adam Idah. The manager needs to find a way of getting two strikers in to a team that simply doesn't score or look like scoring.

We aren’t as bad as the last few months under Williams but the difference is we have spent significant amount of money on players this summer and the expectation is raised based on that alone

Atleast Williams & Martin could argue they were not backed. The team that finished 8th under Martin were of a lot less quality than today’s team in my opinion. We had the likes of Fulton, Sorinola & Cullen in the starting 11.

We've backed the wrong horse, do we put him now or later. I've not enjoyed one league game this season, I can't wait to see the back of a pragmatic coach. Please deliver me an attacking minded coach for Christmas. I'm so close to calling it quits and just being a ceefax supporter because Saturday afternoon at the moment is depressing.
