• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We want Sheehan out

Your last sentence is what upsets me the most. The sense of togetherness as a fanbase has slowly disappeared.
Social media has done that. Some of the noisiest people about are those that never set foot in the stadium, humming behaviour.

Got to say, I'm not convinced getting Sheehan out is the golden bullet some seem to think it is. How good are the summer signings? How good is the squad he's got to work with? With the exception of Galbraith and Burgess, few others have looked convincing up to now. Sure, there are things Sheehan has done wrong and he looked like an under pressure manager who knows he's up against it and knows he's running out of time on Saturday, but how much of a tune could anyone get out of this squad? The fact Inousa and Widell have fail to unseat Ronald and Eom, tells us a lot, add to that the nosedive in the performances of Key and to a lesser extent Franco. Make no mistake, any new manager will have their work cut out.

Is there any idea who is available for the managers job should Sheezy get the spanish archer? I'm guessing Brodge is out of our league now or are all hopes pinned on this Hellberg scandi chap
Whose this Hellberg fella ?

It won't be easy for anyone who comes in. None of the wide players provide a good enough service to our CF. And that includes Key and Tyman! A big task for anyone, good luck ! Oh by the way, why is Bobby Wales out of favour?

Thanks, I have found out more about him now. His record in Sweden is very good. But he likes playing with a Press, can our players DO that for 45 minutes, let alone 90 +, I'm not convinced? He won't be cheap, that's for sure ! Rather awkwardly there are 4 Championship teams looking for New blood at the helm, how / who could we persuade to come to us ?? That is the question!

He is cheap - his buyout clause is £250,000
