There's that, and the fact he has no compelling vision to sell of what he thinks the country should look like, and the fact he's a ruthless shapeshifter who told a pack of lies to become leader, and would definitely sell his nan if it meant holding on to power.

A thoroughly dislikeable and dishonest individual who, if the polls are to be believed, has been seen right through by most of the public.

The worst thing? His total incompetence is going to land us with the first ever Trumpian right wing populist government in our history. That's about all he'll be remembered for.
Sounds about spot on to me Andrew 😀

No Labour PM has ever been unseated but their own party. That’s usually a Tory thing. It would be a mental thing to do IMO.
Labour have inherited a country that’s in a mess, it’s been driven in to the ground by the last government.
Starmer has a major issue which is that the right wing press are gunning for him and his team to an extent I’ve never seen before. The Conservatives have the media and press stitched up a PR has been poor. His cause isn’t helped by the MP’s in his party who want to spend money we can’t afford to.

There was an article in the press about 2m people on unemployment benefit not having to look for work, anyone who thinks that’s happened on Starmers watch is deluded - it’s taken years (probably the duration of the conservatives reign in power) to get to that situation and undoing it will take time.

Is Badenoch the answer…. I don’t think so. Reform, well Kent County Council is in a state and something like 11 of their 57 Reform officials are or have been under the microscope for misdemeanours etc. The Lib Dem’s … Plaid…….

I’ve never seen the cupboard so bare. Scary times.

This 100%,

This Government is just like all other governments in blaming the previous Government and instead of grabbing the bull by the horns and getting stuck and start sorting things out, their first answer is to harp on the same rhetoric about the previous government etc, they're clueless and in all my years I never known a PM be as hated as this one and it's all his own doing, he's reneague on every promise he's made, it's incredible.

I work in customers properties for all walks of life and I've not heard anyone say a good word about him or his government and I don't start the subject off cause I've not got the time to gas, get job done and move on to the next etc.

There is no one worth voting for none of them are trustworthy fuking charlitans the lot of them, they're all the same they just wear different colour ties.
I sort of get what you're saying, but there is a difference

Starmer and his bunch of cronies, and the Tories we suffered for 14 years, are just a bunch of incompetent fuckwits. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing most of the time.

Reform are just plain dangerous. They will tear this country to shreds behind the scenes - abolish human rights, torch employment laws/protections, give even more tax breaks to already very rich people whilst cutting even more public services - while just continuing to blame immigration for everything going wrong.

At some point they need to stop blaming others and take a grip and do what they were elected to do.

I'm fed up of hearing about the mess they inherited. We're over a year in to their government and the country has arguably gone backwards.

People said they can't be worse than the Tories........

It was always going to get worse before it got better, that’s simply down to the steepness of the slippery slope that we were on. However I expected to see us bottom on the horizon by now, and I don’t.

If you are reluctant to vote but at same time have views on each party, then it’s quite simple, vote for the party who stands the best chance of defeating the worst party. Don’t let the vote go to waste.

At some point they needed to accept things are a mess and take ownership. All I see at the moment is one mess after another created by themselves.

That point should have been when writing the manifesto for the 2024 general election. The obvious problem being hardly anyone would have voted for a party brandishing a manifesto that was honest about the problems we faced and what it would cost to put it right.

Just look at Reform.

I think a manifesto which was honest with the countries problems and how they planed to fix it would be better than breaking some of the key pledges that they campaigned on.

I don't buy in to this "we don't know how bad it was" strap line they come out with when pressed on the chalenges.

Starmer and McWankey have been a political disaster from start to finish. The only political success they’ve had is doing nothing and not being the Tories. The government have done some good things, but you’d never know, because the leadership (and I’m genuinely not sure which of the two is actually the leader) have zero political nous. I will say the media has been appalling, but that’s the first thing they should have got a grip of and still should.

They've manufactured so many traps for themselves and then thrown themselves into them. They hardly need enemies. It’s been a breathtaking display of political and communication incompetence. God help them post budget. They have nowhere to go. All the chickens will be roosting. It makes me sad and angry that they are wasting such an opportunity.
