• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No Labour PM has ever been unseated but their own party. That’s usually a Tory thing. It would be a mental thing to do IMO.
I’m unsure whether he can turn it around. It depends who the successor would be. And I wouldn’t trust the Labour membership to chose the right person.

But I just think it’s going too far to carry on as is. I wouldn’t be that surprised if he stepped down or indicated that he will ‘for the sake of the party’. This must be a living hell for him.

For them to go, a large number of Labour MPs would need to vote for a general election in the full knowledge that they’ll lose their seats and will be hugely unlikely g9 find themselves another job paying the same sort of money.

It’s just not going to happen.
Hi Lisa 👋, and that is exactly why they don't give a flying f**k about the people who voted for them on the vast majority who want change 😞.

Surely putting County before pride should be upmost "living hell for him".

Four years till an election so if he is replaced it’s gonna be with another Labour PM.

I think some of them very much do give a f**k and some of them don’t.

In all parties.

Interestingly the person who most doesn’t give a f**k is the person most likely to win if we had an election tomorrow.

I don’t think it’s a case of pride. I think he is a decent man who genuinely wants to do best for the country and probably believes that if he goes he will be replaced by an idiot. I think that the media just will not give him chance to do it, hence my comment.

The problem he has is lack of charisma. It makes it difficult for him to connect with people.

Sorry Lisa, I was agreeing with you about the back benches 😀.

The media? You're having a laugh Lisa 😃. The whole labour party is a shambles. He does come across as a nice guy (bit like RM) but I really wouldn't trust him to rum MY country, sorry 😐

There's that, and the fact he has no compelling vision to sell of what he thinks the country should look like, and the fact he's a ruthless shapeshifter who told a pack of lies to become leader, and would definitely sell his nan if it meant holding on to power.

A thoroughly dislikeable and dishonest individual who, if the polls are to be believed, has been seen right through by most of the public.

The worst thing? His total incompetence is going to land us with the first ever Trumpian right wing populist government in our history. That's about all he'll be remembered for.
