Why is this even a debate?
The answer is no and has been posted on the indy it seems it is a non starter from the clubs perspective

I've thought about it. And maybe it's best if Martin returns. Better the devil you know and all that. He will now be a humbler person. Better for his experiences. I also predict no more fist pumps. No more stats overload. No more passing across the back etc. He will want to reinvent himself - nowhere else to go with his now defunct Plan A. So Plan B for us, with him, is a no brainer. Bring it on.

He won't be a humbler person. Failure does not change him. He will believe in the process until his dying day.
His arrogance is unsurpassed and immovable.

Martin wouldn't know a humbler person if they walked up and slapped him across the face with their dick

I dislike the bloke (he didn't give a shite about leaving us knowing Southampton were screwing us over in the process) but I think id chose him over Matos. Less risky.

People seem to have forgotten that we were in a legal battle over him leaving for well over a year or two.

If we hired him again after that we need our heads examined. I’d hope we showed a lot more self respect than having him anywhere near us whatever his public pleadings now he’s in a mess. And that’s not to mention his shitty remarks about us in one of his first press conferences with Southampton.

Plus, he really is an absolutely dreadful manager.

Well said Lisa. Nail, hitting, head.

I understand your thought process but we did go about 20 games beaten streak. It wasn't pretty. Plus we cannot afford to change the style of play now and start experimenting. Too risky.
