Eventually, we have found the right fit.

Back Vitor Matos, light him up. Get behind him.

His backroom staff are coming, and hopefully a couple of bob to spend in January with a few Portuguese gems to shine for us. Watch this space.

Onwards and Upwards.
Any manager that brings Josh Key on leaves a lot to be desired. He must have seen enough in his short time here to know that is asking for trouble. Hellberg was the man they should have had here and backed.

Slim pickings, he got his feet under the table a month ago ffs.
Helberg chose the coin.
Perhaps we should have "pushed the boat out and lured Brendan back.?
Get real.

If we are to pursue this way of playing then we should watch how Hull perform.

Watching them against Wrexham in midweek their pressing and energy didn’t let up until the final whistle….the big difference….their manager brought fresh legs on long before there was signs of tiredness in their play.

Commentators made the point today that we couldn’t keep that level of energy up for the ninety, they were right, hopefully as Matos gets to know the squad he’ll have a better idea of who to hook long before their legs have gone.

If we keep seeing the same rinse and repeat with Key then an argument is there. But you can't fault Matos mindset today with moving Galbraith into midfield to help control. Ultimately Key let him down.

We will see, no manager so far this season has learnt that playing Key is a liability. He would have been absolute toast against Murphy last Tuesday night and probably would have resulted in us not winning the game. Why not give Casey or Parker a try in that position? We are nearly half a season in and he still gives us a serious headache in that position.

100%. I agree. I think if Matos continues to give key a chance its not gonna help him. Honestly I think Matos knew Key was poor hence Galbraith in his position, irrelevant of the sickness story. But he put trust in Key and he massively let down the team. And it's not the first time. For some reason though I just don't see Matos or any manager being ruthless and dropping key from the whole squad. But who knows. Let's hope he does.
