Liverpool Szoboszlai’s brain freeze

Conor Hourihane is managing Barnsley? I did not know he'd retired or that he'd become a manager.

If that was in Indonesia, Thailand or some other footballing backwater, we’d be calling ‘fix’.

The Liverpool keeper immediately giving him a pat on the back is all that's wrong with today's modern game!

What is Hourihane talking about disrespectful !!

I don't think he does that against Chelsea, I don't think he does that againt Arsenal, I don't think he does that in a Champions League game. The interviewer should have said I'm not being disrespectful Conor but your not Chelsea, your not Arsenal and it wasn't Champions League game, end of the day Szoboszlai tried a trick agianst Barnsley in the FA Cup 3rd round that didn't work out and made himself look like a twat.

Which in essence is extremely disrespectful towards Barnsley.

I remember when Trundle did his trick on the halfway line ie. Letting the ball run down one arm, across his chest and down his other arm, and the opposition manager saying exactly the same thing.
I think he said something along the lines of Trundle was disrespecting his fellow professionals.
Was it against Huddersfield?

I remember once when Mancini was in charge of Man City and in a pre season game Balotelli took the mickey out of an opposition team that they were battering and with an open goal rather than just tap the ball into the net he did a pirouette and a backheel.

Mancini immediately subbed him off for being disrespectful to the opposition team

Now don't get me wrong, I don't think Balotelli could even spell respectful if someone showed him the word in a dictionary and then punched him in the dick with it. But still Mancini was a man of principles and as much as everyone disliked City I respected him for that.

And rightly so.
