So the small boat people are fleeing persecution and warfare in France then?
I don't know where you got that idea from, certainly not from my post.
Interestingly, France has almost three times the number of asylum seekers of the UK over a prolonged period.
It could be argued that relatively wealthy countries in western Europe should share the distribution of people fleeing persecution and warfare.

I’m just saying they aren’t fleeing persecution and warfare in France and the majority of illegals are coming from France.

If only there was some kind of economic and political union of European nations by which such agreements could be made and the burden shared. Someone should suggest such a thing.

I agree. But I do. And it’s increased my enjoyment of the forum exponentially.

Fair enough and it's a shame.

You've mentioned him a lot over the last couple of days though as the person that you can't see their posts, no need. If you want to ignore him, ignore him.

You're welcome, it's boring reading loads of posts talking about you ignoring posts from someone you've ignored.

And no, I don't want to ignore you as I enjoy reading your posts.

He’s always been the same,I remember going to Kenilworth Road for the first time in 2001,we lost 5-3 and Saverese scored a hat-trick.
When I got home in the night I said on the original Jackarmy site that the area around the ground was absolutely filthy with Pakistan flags flying from nearly every house,he said I was a racist.
I was only speaking the truth ffs.

Darran think about this for five mins.

If you were them and your mother Country was the UK.

So ie your mother tongue is English and maybe your relatives live in say Birmingham (to be stereotypical)

I bet if you were in their shoes wouldn’t you try to get to the UK?

Where as former French colonies would likely go to France.

As has been suggested France takes more, we are quite low across Europe and much of that stems from the sea that separates us.

I’ll go back to it. Our actions have led to this. One of the obv examples is foreign intervention in Libya. Under Gaddafi they were locked down now it’s a route to the Italian coast.

If you want to solve migration you have to start at source. You have to work across multiple borders and we can’t just turn our backs on the World we have an obligation and a moral duty to help where we can.
