• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Not sure if this would help, but have you tried a usb-a to usb-c adaptor to use your usb-a stick?

I have one of these in the house & have no use for it. Next time you're at a home game, let me know and I'll bring it with me to the Alma for you.

Interesting, never encountered this problem, mainly because I don’t use a usb. 🤣

All jokes aside, from what I’ve read, it seems to be a compatibility issue, and the best solution seems to be this:

2. Use a "FAT Sorter" Utility
Since car players often read files based on the order they were written to the flash drive's file table, you need a tool to reorder them without copying them over one by one.
  • Tool: Use software like DriveSort or FAT Sorter.
  • How it works: These tools rewrite the file allocation table (FAT) to match the filename alphabetical/numerical order.

Thanks Steve, but I don't think using the old USB instead of the new one will solve the problem. There's no difference between the two sticks other than the shape of the plug.

Thanks, I'll look into it.

Slightly off-topic, but I couldn’t live without Apple Music. So convenient to have pretty much every song at your fingertips.

I don't sit down and listen to any music I used to occasionally, but I can't remember the last time.

Upload your library to iTunes and organise it there and play it off your phone.
