Cameron (Brainless) Burgess

Can we f@ck him back to Suffolk? Or even Norfolk and bring H back?
Surely Matos has seen enough to make it a priority to get two new CBs this summer.

Every game at least on calamity from Brainless, season over basically down to his brainfarts, blood one of the U21's and get a competent center back in for half his wage for next season.

Question is, can he be moved on? . Isn't his wages high? I have 0 issue to have him as back up. But he is not type of player who is bench warmer. Like it or not, think we're stuck with him. Shame really I wanted him to do well, but his passing is bad and his defending is questionable.

Him and Cabango are getting paid millions for their defensive work apparently.. they're the sole reason why fans are not watching us week in, week out.. they're awful footballers, one is guaranteed to play it out once a game.. it's understandable why some people are turning their noses up.. imagine you're a surgeon, pilot or police officer..

Cabango's performance as a heart surgeon, he walks in, attempts to open him up and stabs him straight through the heart, killing him instantly, but he does it every week

The pilot's performance.. he's all ready for take off, icey conditions, he goes full pelt down the runway attempts to pull up 100 yards too late and blows everyone up

The police officer, he turns up ready for a drugs bust, this actually happened in Swansea a few months ago, they charged into the suspects house without a warrant, searched everywhere in the house and f*ck all was found.. no evidence, arrested the suspect (and he's a full on drug dealer) and he walked free, I bet they put it down towards poor intelligence

But it's no surprise many dodge paying.. people are not daft

They certainly don’t work as a pair, even for what I thought they would…hopeful balls lumped into our box. They are also so slow it limits our ability to vary our game, plus an inability to run with the ball or pass accurately. It’s not a great partnership, especially when you consider how we play.

Makes nowhere near the amount of mistakes though
Really ? They are as consistent as each other but Burgess is more of a leader / captain than he will ever be.

I think they would both look better with a ball playing centre half alongside .

As for people pining for Darling to come back, he had pelters on here almost every week as he was the scapegoat prior to burgess. Common denominator, Cabango ??

We'd do well to shift both but I'd rather cabango over burgers.

It makes you think how shit Ipswich's defenders have been over the years given their comments about him - swear we'd sign maldini

In Burgess's defense as I think he is being crucified unfairly here, that first goal he was the only one to sniff the danger after he drifted across to cover what should have been Cabango's position. He had a lot of ground to cover and while defensive coaching for games should tell players what foot the opposing strikers prefer to use he was rushing to block what he thought would be a shot, if Cabango had been where he should be then he would have been in a better position to have his weight neutral and stand up Broadhead.
