I don't know whether if Brooks was the one that dropped, but as soon as that Cullen change happened, Bosnia walked through us and Ampadu was trying to man the fort with torpedo holes in our defensive shape, then Harris came on and it got worse.. definitely Bellamy's worse 30/40 minutes since the shapeless England game

I just watched it on Dai Player. As soon as Bosnia equalised I just looked up the score because I knew what was likely. Surprised Wales made it to pens as were being crushed. Disappointing, but when you are bringing on League 1 players like Cullen and Harris, that just shows how poor and cheap international caps really are.

The game was forged in the first half hour, I mentioned in earlier post Yugoslavia what was it ?1976? more physical and ruthless, disrupt us us , and a poor ref,
we did our best with what we got, the system beat us /
Better finishing, just like the Swans and maybe a different result.

Our wasteful play in front of goal after fast great build up play it really was just like watching the Swans.

If you don't have quality on the bench, don't bring them on. Steve Cooper done this years ago for us.

Penalties are a lottery, it was our overall performance in 120 minutes of football that cost us, Colwill should have come on for extra time, got a trick up his sleeve and can score a goal big mistake from Bellamy.
He wasn't on the bench..

Cullen gets 10+ goal contributions a season in the championship so it's clear why he's picked (that's not far off nore than a certain number 10 in Cardiff blue has managed in his whole championship career by the way.. so the comments about him being there instead are laughable).

He isn't great but you can't blame it for that tonight especially when Bellamy played him as a 6. Completely unfair and unnecessary

Thought the games reminiscent of so many Swans matches where a dominance of the game started to fall apart in the last quarter only to concede a set piece equaliser.
Some poor substitutions by Bellamy saw a failure to bring on Cabango to help combat the ball into the box saw Rodon the only player on the field capable of winning aerial duals not only in defence but also trying to get on the end of so many of Sorba Thomas's crosses.
Cullen is not the type of player to bring on when it starts to become a dogfight in the last quarter and while Harris possesses energy I felt that Broadhead would have been the better option when one considers the success he is having at Wrexham.
All in hindsight now but possessing a cavalier approach to the game is all very well if opportunities are not taken and an inability to close down a game where a more experienced midfielder like Sheehan should have been introduced.

What a frustrating night thst was. Can’t bring myself to watch it back yet, but felt in the ground that we’d done enough to win the game in the 1st 60-65 minutes.

Lost control of the game after then with players out on their feet, poor game management and sadly a lack of quality on the bench.

Would have been a tough ask to have gone again with the same XI on Tuesday but against a nervous Italy we’d have had a chance.

Saved £1000s over the summer I guess!

Yep, he's a 6/8 though not an attacking player. Agree he should have played there instead of Cullen though, weird choice
Sheehan seemed the obvious one to me based on how well he’s done in last couple of games he’s played, even if it meant a slight change of shape.

Agree with Colin ,
When the game became chaos like a basket ball changes were needed to gain control .
Cabango with Sheehan who keeps the ball well for me was needed
Sorba Thomas did well unfortunately we didn't have Keiffer Moore who would have thrived on that service .
The last 15 mins was a hard watch
You could feel the equaliser was coming
Hit the wood work twice created chances the second goal was key .
What a save from Karl Darlow wow .
Good penalty from Harris seen Neco Williams score penalties .
Darlow saves the first one then 4 quality penalties from Bosnia .
