Got to be honest nowhere as disappointed as I was when Bodin blazed over, very subdued atmosphere last night even the anthem 3/4 of the game through was poor.

Agree with Colin ,
When the game became chaos like a basket ball changes were needed to gain control .
Cabango with Sheehan who keeps the ball well for me was needed
Sorba Thomas did well unfortunately we didn't have Keiffer Moore who would have thrived on that service .
The last 15 mins was a hard watch
You could feel the equaliser was coming
Hit the wood work twice created chances the second goal was key .
What a save from Karl Darlow wow .
Good penalty from Harris seen Neco Williams score penalties .
Darlow saves the first one then 4 quality penalties from Bosnia .
Yeah, we missed Moore badly for the last 20 minutes of extra time when Bosnia offered little and were happy with penalties. Some of those crosses from Thomas were begging for an aerial presence in their box.
When Mark Harris is your main man up front you know you’re in the brown stuff. Surely Broadhead would have been a better option?

Have I understood it correctly in that we now have to play Northern Ireland in a friendly, or is someone on a piss take?

I'd let Bellamy go after that.
Started his reign well but has really fallen off.
He clearly has his favourites in terms of players - which you can't do when our pool to choose from is so limited.
Substitutions and tactics have cost us throughout the campaign.
Some other relatively big teams will miss out as well, but if we have any ambition, we need a manager who will get these players to deliver.
To miss out on an expanded tournament is not good enough.

Toxic scum rats piling on Cullen on twitter as if it was his fault. Bunch of horrible fuckers who bring rivalry into everything. They'd should be thankful for our club for getting us where we've been in the past 15 years. Cunts.

Who would you replace him with?

Him and Harris weakened the team but are certainly not to blame for conceding a stupidly soft goal, nor being unable to take a penalty. Those last two failings are the factual reasons Wales didn’t win, irrespective of the substitutes. It happens

They were dreadful substitutions though, and only one man to blame for that.

Not a clue tbh.
But they don't necessarily have to be Welsh.
We'll be on a hiding to nothing in the next Nations League campaign, so get someone competent in now - give them time to learn about the players before trying to qualify for Euro 2028.
I haven't seen anyone else saying this btw, so maybe very much in the minority here.
Bellamy will be a target for clubs anyway, so we may well be looking soon enough.
Who would you pick (if we had to).

We need to remember that this is his first managerial role and he won’t know it all at this stage. I’m sure he is hurting from last night and will have learned a lot from his actions, it’s just unfortunate that this played out in a huge game. He also comes across as a good man manager of his group. On this basis I am prepared to stick with him.

Yep that’s correct. All teams have to play the same number of games in each window.

This systen has been the same since playoff senis and final replaced 2 legged playoffs. Not impacted us before as we won the semi for the Qatar WC & Euro 2024.

Tbf to UEFA and the national assiciations it’s the only way it’d work with 4/5 days notice, although I’d imagine less than 50% of us with tickets will actually attend (tbf I’m unlikely to bother as not a fan of friendlies at the best of times) on Tuesday night.

Still really struggling to understand the logic of bringing Harris on over Broadhead. Harris has done nothing in a Wales shirt and barely even scores at Championship level, Broadhead's having a good season at Wrexham as well.

Bellamy is doing just fine.

We’re a tiny nation with limited resources and have come inches from reaching a play off final for a World Cup.

I can guarantee you that if we sacked Bellamy there won’t be a long line of quality manages chomping at the bit to take the job.

A little perspective is needed.

You can see why Cullen is in the squad though. Harris less so.

It's not fair to judge Cullen on that when Bellamy played him as a 6 ffs.

Goes to show the lack of depth though as none of the others deemed good enough

He’s made some mistakes but tbf has managed less than 20 games of senior football.

Bit harsh to say they’ll ‘fallen off’ as well when the best performance in his reign was the last game and we were by far the better side for 60-65 mins last night (appreciate that doesn’t win yiu games though).

The expanded tournament is a bit of a red herring. Only 3 more European teams (which was unchanged from 1982 to 2022) and it’s now comparable to the Euros from 1996 to 2012 (16 teams) which we never qualified for.

The Nations League and last 6 qualifying campaigns show that we’re between 13th and 20th in Europe which means we’ll usually finish second in the group and have to go through the playoffs with the current format. Fortunately as hosts, we’re all but gauranteed to be at the next Euros whatever happens.

What i found difficult to watch was the overplaying out from the back such a risk we were fortunate not to concede .
The straight ball from the keeper is so poor .
I was shouting at my TV .
They need to mix it up .
