What's Calpe like these days

Not a place I know very well, gets very busy in summer and it's very German-centric. Not that I've got anything against Germans, but you'll need to get your towel on your favourite sunbed very early

We'll go for a week like always, went to Cala d'Or last year hotel was ok, not a patch on some we've stayed like The Protur Alicia in Cala Bona and the Protur Bonamar Adults only.

The Hotel Astoria in Alcudia was fantastic went there in 2017, bit of a walk to beach, but what a hotel and again an Adults only Hotel without the rug-rats running around screaming and shouting.

The Botel Alcudiamar Club that's on the marina perched out in the bay, is a beautiful hotel, we used to walk up there after lunch we had lunch there a few times and sit out on the terrace facing the sea and Alcudia beach, fantastic setting. Alcudia itself was a bit of a let down there.

The Parrot at Cheekys takes some beating J great afternoon that was, amazing that we sat by a lad who was mad on the Swans, nice lad he was to.

I'd much rather the Parrot at Cheekys company than mine

He wants to be a sports journalist or something, wonder if he got in touch with Keith. The parrot was a pretty bird

He did yes, I did mention Keith to him, although I've not heard back off him I think I give him my number as well, pity cause I'm sure Keith would have at least had a chat with him, especially as he was a keen Swans fan, he was on the same plane as us on our way home with his parents, he was quiet though just had a nod off him, I saw him waiting for bus back to airport, I'd made our own arrangements to get back to airport fuck those buses, they're horrendous, when we get off the plane we just want to get to the accommodation and quickly settle down the same back to airport, its a long day after an early flight, but we not bothered, bit of food a few sarsaparillas and jobs a goodun

We hire a car to avoid the buses and to give us a bit more freedom especially with self catering and stop in shop on way from airport and get the very important supplies
