I’d far rather Wrexham went up than Southampton.

It’s only delaying the inevitable anyway.

We are going to have supporters though that want us to lose on Saturday because they don’t care about Wrexham so much.

I'd far rather Southampton go up than Wrexham. Southampton are a proper footballing side - Wrexham are painful to watch. With any luck, by the time "the inevitable" happens Wrexham will have been done by PSR, or whatever it's called these days. Still want us to beat Southampton mind.

I’m of the opinion Wrexham will be promoted at some point anyway so may as well be now.

I’ve always enjoyed playing them and don’t see them as a derby or anything anyway. Have always quite liked them.

BTW - I don’t think we can take any issue with any sort of circus - if things go as planned with us we’ll be the same.

I lived in Winchester and Southampton for a while. I'm not keen on Hampshire and I detested Southampton. Hateful horrible racist place I thought. I was quite impressed by St Mary's when I did 10k down there a couple of years ago after Russ had got them promoted, and, to add a bit of balance I met and chatted with a few lads running in Southampton shirts and they were good lads and a good laugh, quite split on Martin at the time, before it went tits up.

So, long story short, I hope we crush them and stamp on their noses. Like Leicester, we really owe them one.

I was having gut wrenching horrors about whether I would be happy to see Saints win against us if it stopped Wrexham in their push but now it appears that it may be academic. No way would II be happy to see the Saints beat us but crikey they are playing like that team that stuffed us a couple of seasons ago.
