Quite a different turn around in Blackburn's form since Michael O'Neill took over and should easily have been two goals ahead at the interval v Coventry last night.
No doubt O'Neill will face a big decision at the end of the season if offered the role at Rovers on a permanent basis.

As the saying goes, the table diesn't lie. Coventry deserve their promotion. But unless they invest millions, I see them coming straight back down. There is very little Premiership quality in their current squad.

Promoted teams seem to need to spend very well and lots to survive these days. Sunderland spent loads and spent well after scraping up and have done very well. Burnley haven’t spent loads and, despite getting 100 points in the Championship, never looked like staying up.

The days of just being able to add 2/3 starters to a promoted team and then fleshing out the squad (like we did) seem long gone.

Sunderland pretty much bought an entirely new starting XI this summer.

Someone on this forum is not going to be happy with you implying that Matty is not good enough for the Prem. 😲
