Mixed feelings about this one.

On one hand it should rule out all the ridiculous decisions we never seem to get and on the other hand we've seen how incompetent the officials are in the Premier league still are, even with the tech.

Think I'd rather carry on as we are.

Sorry I didn’t see your Thread. I have merged the 2 Threads into one big Smurph Thread now. 😃👍🏼⚽🥳

I was the same as well, honestly thought it was going to improve things.

Right now, I can't stand it. The game has been sterilised.
Sterilised is the right word. The euphoria of scoring a goal is what the game is all about and VAR dampens that emotion. The ref and the linos as the pantomime villains is part of the show.

Maybe we need an AI robot as a ref that gives instant correct decisions.

I wouldn’t normally say that a robot should replace a human, but so far in the championship I would happily do so with 90% of the bent fuckers.

Sucks all joy from scoring a goal.

Put up with human error, and obviously, only in our case, even though all other clubs claim it, outrageous bias 😆

After last night are you sure, "we never get"?! lol

I was all for some sort of system to irradiate any obvious errors. But the way it’s been implemented is atrocious. Tbh I don’t watch many premiership games unless there’s a big fixture, so haven’t had much experience of the delays it causes. But friends who go to Premiership games say it’s just sucks the atmosphere out of the stadium while waiting for decisions.

It’s a crap experience on TV, but it’s 10 times worse in the ground.

Despite what the UK media might have you believe, it’s not just the PL either. It’s been horrendously implemented throughout Europe - just there’s different types of incompetence in different countries.
