The night The Liberty rocked

Having been there to witness the magical night against Forest ,
Sitting close to the Forest fans the noise when they scored was so loud that was supassed when Pratley scored .

How many on here went onto the pitch after the final whistle i did with my nephew .

Surprised nobody has commented on some great games during the Toshack era and were they better than some of the games during the PL era as far as atmosphere is concerned. What it does show and prove is that you can never discount it happening once more.

Colin ,
Lots on this forum were lucky to witness the rise up the leagues under Tosh .
One of my favourite games the first time we played Cardiff in the second Division over the new year , the atmosphere electric with the band on the pitch topped off with a 2 - 1 win .
Experience iconic grounds we could only dream of .
To see the best players in British football was a pleasure & education .

I was there with my brother and his 2 lads and we all went onto the pitch. Incredible scenes

Seeing Brendan take off down the touchline when Prats scored was iconic. The stadium was literally shaking.
Leeds & Cardiff in the cup come close but for me, that was the best atmosphere I've ever experienced.

It was very, very early. I think the foul itself was inside a minute.
It was! I had to miss the trip up because I had my uni final presentation that I couldn't really miss or reschedule. It finished just before the game kicked off so we rushed down to the student union to watch afterwards, got the notification on my phone about 45 seconds after kick off, assumed it was a red card and penalty combo and that we were already done! But we played so well in that first leg with 10 men for the whole game we probably still edged it.

It was, sure Mike Dean was the ref , he was a right barsteward to us when he officiated us , gifted the scum a nothing penalty against us at Ninian Park. Still hate him to this day, another one like Nigel Owen (rugby) that thinks the game is all about them .

Wrexham this season was good ,
March 2024 when we beat Cardiff 2 nil after losing in Cardiff 2 nil .
The atmosphere was red hot no one wanted them to the double .
Three Quarters of the Stadium was as one from the first whistle to the end , the most noise i can remember for a very long time .

Yep, Mike Dean reffed it.

Gave Cardiff a penalty after being struck on the head by a coin from the home section .
You would have thought he would give us a penalty .
Was the joey goal his first for the Swans ?
