If she wins on Weds she'll have gone from GB's 13rh ranked female to Britains No.1 in the space of 3 months

She’s just absolutely thrashed two top 50 players, and hasn’t dropped a set yet including qualifying. Much tougher match against Bencic next but she’s got a decent chance.

And of course she’s British, highly unlikely she even remembers Canada considering she moved here when she was two.

Her last opponent, Rogers, said something about expecting death threats as a result of the loss. FFS.

She beat the girl who beat the Wimbledon champion , if she gets past bencic she might struggle with the power of sabalenka , she is capable of going all the way if she maintains this standard

Stunning performance. Into the semi final.

Born in Toronto but her parents moved to UK when she was 2. That's 16 of her 18 years in UK.

Are you saying immigrants cannot become citizens?

I'm assuming she carries a British passport just like I carry a Canadian one.

Should Ashley Williams have been allowed to play for Wales in your opinion?

Sad act. A Welshman making comments like that when many English consider the Welsh to be 2nd/3rd class citizens or worse still, have no consideration for Welsh at all.
