    Your First Ever Game At The Vetch !?

    It was an evening game against Sheffield United. My school football team were in a final at The Vetch and this followed by a Testimonial (I think for Herbie Williams.) There was a young debutant who The Swans had high hopes for and he didn’t do too bad - Jeremy Charles

    I can still picture Tosh hugging him after the win at Preston. He was the youngster of our team at the time tasting success for the first time with the gaffer who had seen much success during his years as a player. RIP Dud.
