• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

I'm confused. Didn't Darren say that Jackfath was himself in disguise or did I misunderstand that?

    Bristol City new manager .

Any competent manager will get them at least into the Play-offs next season. They have been under achievers for so long

It's worth going to Asda, just to talk to someone face to face rather than using the internet. If you don't like their prices you can just wander off and do your shopping instead.

Don't rule out Asda superstores that have opticians. I was pleasantly surprised how much cheaper they were compared with my regular optician.

Jeez, sit_down_jack can't you take a compliment? 😁 They were impressed. Maybe you'll like this comment better: "I quite enjoyed watching Swansea play. In all honesty, I would love my side to play even a fraction of how they play instead of what we have had to endure this season". If other...

Here's a comment from a Charlton fans forum: "Swansea finish in 11th, only 8 places above us. But the way they play football means there is an actual chasm between the 2 teams. This team needs some serious reinforcements to get anywhere near the level of Swansea."

I was near Charlton last Saturday so went to see them at home against Hull. They're a decent side but too limited in front of goal to be much threat. Their fans are a friendly bunch.

But I thought that you had met a lot of these twats face to face Darren? (And anywhere in London will be fine.)

Thank you Phil. By the way, if you click on anyone's name you'll see how many posts they've made, and Darren currently has made 19,413 of them. Any bets that he'll reach 20,000 before final closure?

Peckham has now become gentrified and you'll even find a Welsh cafe there called Bara that sells what they call a "Swansea Breakfast" at weekends https://www.baracafe.com/ Which isn't exactly my typical breakfast.

Also do note that the Overground trains are still running, and that includes the Elizabeth Line, so anyone in east London should consider taking it to Paddington or Ealing Broadway (which might be quicker) and starting from there. For what it's worth my own recommendation for visiting Jacks...
