Watching Leicester v Brentford tonight, I can’t get over the huge gulf in class between the championship and Premier league. Leicester and to a degree Saints last year(I remember the home game against them; we couldn’t get the ball off them at times as they passed around us for fun). Both nailed on to come back down along with Ipswich who were decent too.
Here’s a question for you. The promotion winning team of 2011, would they survive in todays premier league if promoted?

On the other side of it, Burnley have conceded 9 goals in 34 games, which is just utterly ridiculous.

100% they would've.

The 2011/12 side was brilliant. It took 4 points off Liverpool, beat Arsenal and Man City and drew with Chelsea at home, and ran Manchester United very close as well. It also regularly took care of business against teams in the bottom half.

In my view, it would easily stay up in this Premier League.

We were Arsenal's bogey team for much of our stay in the Premier League.
We cost them so many points over those 7 seasons
The team they were expected to beat but always slipped on the Cyril shaped banana peel

No chance, the money in the Premiership is massive these days and its crept massively into the Championship in these latter years, the game at these two levels is dominated by the money men and it's ruining the game in my opinion, I was expecting the bubble to burst, but instead it's got stronger and worse sadly.

I’m thinking there’s no way Myles Peart Harris is getting in this Brentford matchday squad anytime soon.
I know what you mean and you're probably right but we've never seen him playing under a manager who actually knows what he's doing and how to get the best out of a player.
