• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Swansea City can confirm the squad that has travelled for this week’s pre-season training camp in Spain.

Jisung Eom has not made the journey after picking up an ankle injury in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Kidderminster Harriers, which is currently being assessed.

Swansea City squad: Andy Fisher, Lawrence Vigouroux, Kit Margetson, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Ben Cabango, Melker Widell, Zan Vipotnik, Josh Tymon, Cameron Burgess, Goncalo Franco, Florian Bianchini, Liam Cullen, Ricardo Santos, Bobby Wales, Zeidane Inoussa, Joel Cotterill, Ethan Galbraith, Ollie Cooper, Ronald, Sam Parker, Cameron Congreve, Arthur Parker, Blair McKenzie, Sebastian Dabrowski.

After seeing Blair McKenzie play on the weekend, he is not upto first team duties for me.
Needs to be built up and get a few pie dinners down him in the process.

I would suspect loans are being lined up for Lissah and Wilson. Yates and Ginnelly out the door in some shape of form before we push on with our next block of recruitment.

Out of curiosity, how did you watch Blair on the weekend? Good call with the rest as well. Agree on all fronts.

I suspect Congreve is going along to carry some water bottles before his half season loan to Morecombe or Rochdale or Dagenham and Redbridge.

Played for the U21s against Trefelin.

I would suggest he is going instead of Lissah. I would say something has happened quickly on Lissah otherwise McKenzie wouldn't have played Saturday for the 21s.

Thanks for that. Good call on this again. It's good too see either way we have some potentially good defenders coming up.

Govea. Another. Yeah maybe he gets a loan out.
Have a real soft spot for Govea. Partly because I think he looks really promising, but mainly because I saw him twice in the same week walking around the Mumbles with his girlfriend. Makes you realise how crazy it is for an eighteen year old Ecuadorian to be playing football in rainy South Wales!

I really like him. And when he did make the odd appearance for us he even showed Ronald how to take on players. I really hope he isn't one of those players who showed promise and didn't work out. I feel we can add Congreve to the list of players who had alot of potential and alot of buzz but might never hit the heights.
