There remains a school of thought that believes had he remained at Swansea and been "backed", that he'd have ultimately been successful. Anyone still promoting that view is certifiably insane.

He's gone to Southampton and played his tedious shit whilst blaming anyone and everything but himself when it hasn't worked. Now he's gone to Rangers and seems hell bent on doing exactly the same thing.

That last few games of the 22/23 season are definitely the outlier of his entire career. The rest of it has been almost entirely shite., and he must be running out of chances.

I still don't know how he wasn't sacked after a run of (I think) 2 wins in 23 games

He’ll eventually release a book on how he fooled the football world into thinking he was a football manager to make a fortune.

Why are people still talking about him? He's moved on and we've moved on.
Thing is Gwyn, he's a bit of a fraud, stealing a living but a multi millionaire. Terrible footballer, awful manager, but a handsome bastard with the gift of the gab! I hate people like that Gwyn 😒

Russ publicly rebuking his players today. Didn't take long. That'll engender team spirit. Any bollockings should be in the dressing room. It's going to end in tears.

"We had too many on the pitch today who just did what they wanted to do. When you want to just jog around, there’s a big problem. Some of them have to drop their ego. I’ll look at us tactically and accept my responsibility but today wasn’t really tactical, it was a mentality problem.

Today, we go ahead and play some OK stuff. Every time we get in the final third, we turn the ball over and make crazy decisions. They’re either selfish decisions or they’re based on anxiety, so we need to get to the bottom of that. Because there was far too much stuff that we haven’t worked on

Too much ego, too much self-preservation, and you’re either all-in all the time or you’re not. And if you’re not, you just won’t play very much.”
