• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The Edingburgh Fringe is on up there in three weeks.
He could be star attraction with his spiel.
Well he makes me laugh.

If he thought the Swans fans turned on him he's in for a shock at G51, Glesga is a goldfish bowl when it comes tae fitbaw

Does RM still haunt some posters?
He haunts me at night. Those bright white teeth at the bottom of my bed. That's all I see. Then he says, in a quiet voice. Build from the back. It's the Swansea.. I mean.. Southampton.. I mean Rangers Way.. 😂

Usual bollocks from Russy after the game

"I think we were lucky with what we got, Motherwell were really good.

"The thing I can’t accept is, whatever the tactics are, we got outfought and they were braver than us to play in certain moments.

"We pick and choose when we want to play football properly and when we want to run hard when it’s going well, and then when the game’s not going well, we have too many players that want to do their own thing and slip into self-preservation.

"And this is not me blaming the players at all, but I think it’s a problem the club has had over the last few years - when it’s going well, it’s fine, and when it’s not, there’s a problem, it’s not together enough on the pitch.

"We have to work out quickly who really wants to dig in and fight and do what we’re asking them to do.

"When they play in the way that we train and we want them to, then it’s all on me if it goes wrong.

"When guys want to make stuff up and pick and choose when to run, I said when I first came in, it’s never a choice. Here you don’t have a choice, you have to run always."
