I think based what both sides have shown so far Birmingham with a chance to reset after having lost their heads a bit in the first half will have too much for Ipswich

Rubbish first half.
Largely the fault of Ipswich mind you
They have tried to time waste and slow the game down at every opportunity. Helped a lot by a ref that gave incredibly soft free kick after free kick

Brum denied a goal by one such “foul”

Chris Davies is a bit of a cock mind. Bloke would eat himself.

Been bankrolled in league one and thinks he's mourinho on the touchlike
Shit out of the job here due to the small budget.

Maybe they'll grow into the season, but on that showing I wasn't at all impressed.
Brum remind me of Leeds in that they look dangerous if you let them dictate the tempo, but without the calibre of players to help enforce and maintain that tempo

To my mind. Bradyingham and Hollywood are just 2 teams that came up from League One. I dont see the money making them that much different from previously promoted teams in terms of where they will be in the table this season.

Both are basically starting with a League 1 squad. Look at all the other clubs signing players, those, already have a championship squad and their strengthening, adding.

Wrexham have at least been signing proven players in this division. We all know how good LOB is and Coady is a vastly experienced PL defender good enough to have won 10 England caps.

Brum 1-0 up

The two standout players involved. Samuel at right back has looked very good and Kyogo has looked very good, if he gets service he will be exceptional

We said that about Ipswich when they came up from League 1, and they went up again.

Referee looking right at a Birmingham player shoulder charge an Ipswich player to the floor in the penalty area at an attacking free kick and does nothing.

Yeah and the comms saying it’s not a foul and just stepping across his line. Last I checked obstruction was a foul too

Ashley Young the only player on the Championship who played in the division before it was rebranded into the Championship 18 years ago.

Crazy stat that
One for the pub quiz
