I was amazed to see people paddle boarding in what was effectively the contents of the local sewers, once again proving that common sense isn’t actually that common.
My first thought was they're going to pay for that over the next few days.

They’d rocked out of a Sunday afternoon sesh in the Gatehouse and whatever the Rhymbuck is called these days. I’m not sure rational thinking was top of their list of things to do. 🤣
😂😂 I’m partial to a Sunday afternoon pint myself, but I’ve never taken my paddle board out with me in preparation for the sail home.

I feel sorry for the people that live there , look's like the Carmarthen Road South (towards town) is still closed, but what seems worse they are trying to deflect the blame onto the Cwmfelin Club.

From what I have read, Culverts especially the collapsed one in question, are ultimately the responsibility of the local highways authority, but looks like they are trying to shift the blame towards the Cwmfelin Club. People are angry, and rightfully so..

Just look at some of these comments on the Swansea Council Facebook page regarding this.

Someone put a vid up on Tik Tok once the water had receded, and the road was just covered in faeces. seen other vids of kids running through the water, absolutely crazy.
