He's got a 44% win percentage, he's much better than Russ and Williams.. he's had 3 bad results in a row, Russ had about 20 games to sort it, Williams about 15.. both of which had below 35% win percentages when they started to crumble and ended up both below 30% when they got the boot
1 win in 7 in the league
No home win in 9 weeks
No goals from open play in 3 league games.

You would like to think it can't get any worse than that given the squad we have. A defeat on Saturday against Norwich is really going to open up some serious questions though and there needs to be a performance aswell. It's a tough ask for someone who is already having questions asked towards him.

Our problem is this ‘Swansea Way’ stuff which is killing us. It doesn’t work anymore, football is cyclical. I think Sheehan has tried to incorporate it into his playing style. Our own mentality holds us back because we are the only club that has to adhere to a style of play that largely doesn’t work.
The only 'Swansea Way' that has been a constant is our ability to end teams losing streaks, we've always been very good at that...

24/25 Sheehan 1.85 points per game
22/23 Martin 1.43 points per game
21/22 Martin 1.33 points per game
23/24 Williams 1.25 points per game
25/26 Sheehan 1.18 points per game
24/25 Williams 1.12 points per game

Williams never showed enough in 23/24 to gain any benefit of the doubt for when things got even worse in 24/25. Sheehan has a bit more goodwill because of 24/25 but it was a small amount of games compared to the others. I had mixed feelings on Martin and would not take him back but he was a lot more stable and the swings between his seasons were not that big so it was easier to assess what kind of job he was doing. 1.85 points per game is not realistic for Sheehan but he needs to get closer to the Martin numbers, especially the lower one.

I just want to add, I was incorrect that our record after 11 games is not identical to the first 11 games last season.

Last season we had 10 points after 11 games.

He's losing games 1-0 here and there, under those two, we were losing by 3,4,5 every week.. we deserved a point last night, even with 10 men.. he's had a bad run, Liverpool lost 4 in a row, you don't see Slot getting the boot.. if it carries on in 5 to 10 games, then we'll worry about it.. talk about fans having unrealistic expectations

To be fair to Luke Williams, we didn't lose by more than 1 goal last season until January 1st. We completely fell apart after that, but up until then we were doing fine.

This summary is over the top. We were not being beaten every week like that and you are moving the goalposts from initially saying he was doing better than them results wise to now justifying why the results are worse.

We can be honest about things on here and do not have to be extreme or biased. There is still time for him to bounce back but the performances so far this season suggest it is more than just a blip so the improvement needs to be substantial. If you genuinely think we deserved to draw last night then we may just disagree on this entirely.

No, Williams kept his job winning every week with a 29% win rate and led us into the champions league, we were obviously winning every week, Martin was winning every week in that 23 games and 1 win against 11 men, he obviously wasn't losing.. Sheehan has a 44% win rate, 34 games 15 wins 10 draws 9 defeats.. if you didn't think we deserved a point, I'll dodge your opinions every week

Why this fixation with comparing records with Martin and Williams??? How about Lampard, Nathan Jones and what’s his name from Boro.

Coventry and Boro have invested more than us, you'd expect them to be up there.. Charlton a bit of an anomaly, it happens sometimes, like Bournemouth went top of the Premier league recently
