The club is an absolute mess and we now need the owners to realise that things need sorting.
In Gorringe and Worth, we have 2 young guys who are clearly good talkers but not upto it in the world of football.

The owners need to get a proper Chairman and DOF in, people with knowledge and a background in the game. It all starts from the top and they need to get grip of things otherwise this mess will just continue into L1 and continue from there.

100%. Problem is its pretty much too late. Yes new people will have an effect on January, but how the hell are we goikg to get the team to stay in the league. We can't go sacking another manager. So unless we change nearly all the team then I have 0 hope. Did I ever ask the question is it OK for a grown man to cry 😂😂😁

We can't go sacking Matos now, he needs to be given a chance.

The ownership group had a choice to make; boot the manager or the recruitment team. We’ve all now seen how this panned out and their signal of where they believed the fault lay.

Was that the actual case?
If it were then it's a case of Deja Vue for me......I am right and he's wrong.

Players have to be accountable. End of. Where was the leadership again today on the pitch? Too many of them think they’re probably better than they are. We’re a physically weak side and as for fitness, I’d like to see what they do in fairwood. Matos likes playing a high press game. He’ll soon come to realise that we’re probably the unfittest side in the league which could be a blessing.
This whole squad though is full of deadwood

The squad is poor but we were told by many that it was a superb window.
The owners entrusted people to bring a group of players in who were competitive and that hasn't happened.

In terms of getting players in rather sharpish and going for positions we needed the window was probably one of the best we've had in a while.

The quality we brought in that's looking very debatable.

We either need to step away from this stats based approach and start using peoples eyes when scouting players or pay for the full version of excel.
Stats have always been part of player recruitment, strikers chosen by number of goals scored, midfielders by tackles made ,passes....in the good old days scoutsnwould sit in stands with notebooks, and yes managers would bring players when they moved clubs but data and stats always were part of finding and selectimg.players.
In todays modern age and eapecially as clubs look to exploit foreign markets as the UK market has become overpriced due to the tv money....modern technology ie videos and software packages have replaced the notebook and pen, just like the bucket of cold water and sponge has been replaced by a medical bag.

Its amazing how the same players who finished last season so well have been crap this season

The blame lies with Sheehan, his use of preseason was clueless and we seem to have done little conditioning over the summer.
We all discuss Keys and Tymoms defensive shortcomings yet despite having had 3 ex defenders as our coaching staff they disnt work with both full backs to iron out thier shortcomings.
Im not sayimg we have a squad full of stars but most of them looked better last season.
Last April most of todays squad beat Sunderland who were promoted at Sunderland a team who sit 4th in the PL tonight and we brought on the likes of Ollie Cooper and Bianchinni from the bench.

Coaches can make a difference....look how Sheffield Utd have changed since Wilder has returned the same players who were struggling to buy a win are now climbing out of the danger zone.

Hindsight is great and maybe Hellberg should have been appointed rather than Sheehan...maybe we should have broken the bank for O'Brien but then he hasnt been "outstanding " for Wrexham barely plays 90 for them ....
Where are where we are and Matos has a massive task but the players are not that bad.....we had a good 30 mins against Man City where we did outplay them ....but thats been us all season we have started brightly often creating oppirtunites but not scoring and then we seemed to runmout of steam....today at.least we sxored two before our fitness and concentration went.

Am I happy no but I will get behind Matos 4 and the team instead of slagging all our players off and being convinced we are now certs for relegation despite us not being half way through the season and only two games and one week into a new managers tenure..
one who in his post match interviews recognises things are wrong and unlike his predecessors spout the cant fault the lads effort and performance.

Confidence is rock bottom, we appear to lack fitness.
Matos keeps mentioning how we need to play as a team ,teams are built through regular playing together and trust in each other...I dont feel there is the trust in Key by Cabango, or in Key and Ronaldo by some of the players.
It is very obvious at times andnit was v Derby even though Ronald was in space we were.looking to work the ball down an overcrowded left side via Tymon and Eom.

We have 28 games left and transfer window....the fat lady hasnt yet sung but yet many on here who were defensive of Sheehan and were convinced we wouldnt be relegated are now changing their tune.

Swansea City v Oxford United
