A very good and encouraging read - especially for the like of Widdell getting genuine praise. He needed matches to get to this level of fitness and I’ll wager we’ll see 5 goals from him in the second half of the season. Vipotnik just fantastic- if we got Piroe back on loan to play behind or alongside him we’d be knocking on the door of the playoffs. Stamenic getting rave reviews too - just shows how little knowhow Sheehan had. Matos is the real deal

Widell's technical ability apparently is amongst the best in the squad, his vision and range of passing are not bad either. What he lacked was getting used to the pace and intensity of british football, in earlier games that came across more as headless chicken syndrome but he is starting to channel that into a more productive direction under Matos.

I also believe we will start seeing more of that quality on the ball as he continues to acclimatize to the Championship.

What Widell needed was a manager that believed in him and gave him some game time . Thankfully this manager has given him that, unlike the last one we had, who hardly played him at all.

All encouraging signs, the buzz is starting to return for me. I still haven't ruled out a play off push, if there is movement in the next transfer window.

How about we leave the guy alone to continue the good work he's been doing without the nonsense talk about the playoffs. He's got enough on his plate as it is without having that kind of pressure being put on his shoulders.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, first and foremost we need to make sure we pull ourselves further away from the relegation spots. That's still the main assignment here, nothing has changed.

While I agree, I'm not sure Vitor is a regular poster or visitor to this Board so he won't feel the pressure of playoffs from our more optimistic contributors.😂 Safe mid table with a change of culture will do for me this season. Oh, and sell Ronald !
