Second best for this particular run of games? Either way it’s an encouraging stat. I was starting to get a bit frustrated at the way we seem to be stuck in a range of 8-10 points off the play-offs and the same for the relegation zone. Still enjoying the football, though, which is the main thing.

Reality is that our form of about 1.5-1.6 points per game is about middle Championship standard. Playoff form would be about 1.8-2.0 points per game and anything above that is basically auto promotion form.

We are showing signs of getting over our away form hoodoo, combined with our excellent home form under Matos perhaps we will start to creep up that form table. The next two away games though are toughies away at Derby in just under a fortnight who are flying at the moment followed by Ipswich end of February who as we all know battered us 5-0 at home earlier in the season.

Ipswich didn't batter us they won 4 - 1
The game was decided in the last 15 mins where they scored twice .
At 2 - 1 their keeper made a brilliant save from a Cabango header .
They are a good side ,
Preston unlucky not to win there yesterday conceding a late penalty .

That's still a battering though
Will be a hard game though Derby will arguably be harder, they are flying and full of confidence atm

So many late goals conceded this year. If your auntie had balls and all that I know, but feels like such a missed opportunity this year. Matos has the squad playing closer to its potential now.

Or is that the 10 games from game 21 to 30?

Yes it is game 21 to game 30 our best was in Coops 2nd season when we were actually top of the 21/30 form table with 8 wins and 2 loses

Not so much wrote him off, but knew nothing about him and were waiting to be convinced. Now I'm convinced. Let's agree that the club got lucky after Hellberg turned us down.

Got lucky that he was available, but yes, the club management did a good job

Let's not be foolish regards Hellberg,the has won 5 out of 5 league games.
It can't be discounted a foreign manager struggling as it would be with a foreign player initially when they sign.

Concentrating on our own,Matos has certainly improved things and we can applaud the ones in charge for letting Sheehan go and in turn learning from the mistake of appointing him. Bringing in Matos who has been a breath of fresh air, club needs applauding for that
