Man City got a bargain for 20 M. Many will argue we have had fair share of dud loans which is true, but also we have helped a lot to step up to the next level. Though not a loan, Galbraith will be the next player to go for massive fee. Downes stepped up, McBurnie, Piroe etc.

Mind you Brewster wasn't helped by a manager who shunted him out onto the left wing rather than up top where we played him

Borini was a smart loan (6 goals in 9 appearances) and we did well with Woodman then Rushworth in goal
