Retro shirt

Sorry, sent this before I could write the comments.

That design was a particular fave of mine, and for some reason always reminded me of The Vetch, and my days on The North bank.
It was given to me this week by the old MD of Diversified Products, Richard Daly, who was having a clear out and found it still in its packaging, hence the creases !
I said my grandson would be chuffed to wear it, and show it off to his mates.
As it worked out, it was a medium, so my son’s going to see if it fits him.
Keep it in the family as they say 😊

That's a lovely gift to receive.
I had someone give me the 1999/2000 home shirt quite recently but that shirt you have been given has certainly trumped mine.
It's a cracker 👌

The 1st Admiral DP one was really nice. Silky. (86-87) The 87-88 one wasnt so nice. More scrtachy.

I’ve always said that the club have missed a trick commercially, by not issuing retro tops

Indeed, and yet they have blocked others from making them for fellow fans that wanted them threatening legal action on at least two occasions despite individuals offering to work with the club on it as a venture. I think they also stopped Toffs from making them who had been doing them for years. The club shop did make a few about 10-15 years ago but they were a bit 'meh' and didn't sell very well.
They could do them to order with a leadtime if they are concerned about wasted stock.
Perhaps it's a case of them seeing that the recent retro kit market boom in Thailand/Vietnam that they can't control will undermine their pricing structure ?
I notice that Cardiff have a retro section in their clubshop as do most clubs
Always wanted this one from Toffs remembering Mickey Conway tearing down the wing in it but they've stopped doing it now ... :(

Totally agree. We are missing a big trick in the retro market. Can’t believe those up the road have seen the potential, that we haven’t.
