• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Welcome back! What a performance from him today.

Defensively solid and was a nuisance going forward all game.

That block on the line was unreal and he nearly scored a screamer too.

I couldn’t be happier for him - one of the nicest players you could ever meet.

On that note - he gave me his shirt signed by the squad for my son because Key is his favourite player.

Where’s the best place to get it framed? I’m sure I’ve read on here before about people going somewhere to get them framed.

I’d have said House of Frames always do a good job (albeit not cheap) but just searched for their details and looks like it’s closed down!

Haven’t used them for a few years, so not sure if they’ve moved or the business has shut?

Darran knows a decent framer, I’m sure he’ll tell you when he logs on.

I don't know what demons or confidence issues he's been dealing with lately, but a lot of people seemed to forget just how good he can be when things are going his way. A lack of ability has never been the problem.

Hope he's all the way back. A confident Josh Key is an asset at RB in his own right, never mind the added bonus that he releases Galbraith back into midfield.

Yep. He was very very good under duff and Williams in that season.

I think he probably should have been taken out of the team sooner when it was obvious his confidence was on the floor and every decision he made seemed to be the wrong one.

Not helped by the crowd being on his back but that’s part of being a professional footballer I guess.

If he had been taken out and given a break sooner we may have seen him back to this level a couple of months ago. Hope he ends the season with some more performances like today!

Yes, they've closed down permanently. It's a very sad tale with a sad ending.

To his credit, he has been the standout player in his recent sub appearances. A player who still at times can get caught out and I'll hold off before I start giving him the praise that he is an amazing player. But... He deserves all the praise for today, man of the match performance. I hope this is his turning point and if it is full props to Matos as well for taking him out of the firing line and reseting things. May it continue.

Good day for him today and will do him wonders.
We need a confident Josh Key playing week in week out between now and the end of the season at Right Back.
Lovely gift for your boy 👌

I would have Ward and Key on our right side.

Keep Galbraith in the midfield and send Ronald somewhere to learn football basics.
