• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Seeing as my chances of seeing the Swans in the flesh at Wrexham is pretty slim, and The Swansea Jack is full to capacity during the match, I was wondering if anyone can think of a few watering holes in and around the city centre that will more than likely be showing the game?

I don’t normally do pubs that tend not to serve food but on this occasion I’m open to suggestions.

The Griffin or three brass monkeys

Thanks for the invite Swansjaxs, although It looks as though a friend of mine is going to be dragging me up to Gorseinon to watch it there as it turns out.

The idea was to watch it close to where I live in the centre of Swansea, but he’s suggested taking it the atmosphere of a local nearer to where he lives.

It’ll be a cracking atmosphere wherever we will be watching.

Enjoy!

If you’re in Gorseinon, The Bug (Llwchwr Workies) is a good shout. Plenty of tellies, decent and relatively cheap beer. Very old school.

Mel hasn't answered my rspv yet Smurph kid. He's doing a "Brits on a bargain" episode on C5 next Friday in Benny.
So just you and Seajack at the moment 👍
Said he might dial in on zoom, all depending on how his Grindr date goes.

Thanks for the recommendation.

He did also mention The Legion, but I’m not familiar with either of them.

Would you say that they are on a par with each other, or does one pip the other?

I haven’t been to the Legion for years and years so can’t say what that’s like now sorry. I like the Bug though.
