• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I wasn't able to watch the match last night, but how did they do compared to each other?

Would we have preferred to keep O'Brien ..or are we happier with Galbraith.

Academic I know, but just curious is all. Though I know that one match doesn't tell a season's story

I wouldn’t say no to both!

In terms of controlling a game and footballing ability then Galbraith all day long. Just hope we get to see him with us next season.
Agreed.
O'Brien is a good footballer but also brings a know how to his game, he does and knows the darker arts.

An O'Brien in our team instead of Franco but alongside Galbraith makes a huge difference.

For someone who was apparently on 40k a week he’s pretty average.

A poor man’s Jay Fulton.

Galbraith 100%.. although LoB keeps the ball well, draws the fouls and has creativity. Galbraith was easily the best player on the pitch last night

Galbraith is on another level to the majority of the league, and I don’t think he’s anywhere near his potential yet. To hang on to him for another year would be huge, once he adds goals (10-15 per season is a reasonable expectation I reckon) we’ll either get promoted or sell him for enough to fund 3/4 quality additions.

Galbraith is already a 20m player. Fortunately been hiding him at right back.

In midfield he just ghosts past and around opposition players. Nobody can get near him let alone gat a hand on him or tackle him. He is going to be running midfield for a Prem club next season.

LOB, energy, tenacity but nowhere nowhere near what Galbraith is

Villa(Douglas Luiz), Man Utd(Casemiro), Spurs(pick a name) and Everton(Gueye) will have vacancies in his position in the summer plus a few more teams

Totally outshone Wirtz when he played against Germany. If Wirtz is worth ??? then Galbraith ??

If Ireland make the World Cup watch his price sky rocket when he is seen on the world stage

Staring obvious, VP and Galbraith will go for big money. Galbraith is another level his movement and intelligence.

No contest, OB from what ive seen this season, isnt as good as he was in his stint with us last year....we got lucky in that one/
