Congreve & Lissah certainly should. Wilson & Cotterill would benefit from another loan probably.

I think Lissah has to be in the squad next season. I was looking at some Falkirk forums and they felt he was comfortable enough on the ball to play central midfield, to be honest we've got much more of a need for him in defence anyway but given that he's able to play across the back four it's a no brainer.

We've not good the best strength in depth in defence, and with Joel Ward, Ishe Samuels-Smith and Ricardo Santos possibly all not being here next season it's a very easy move to put him into the first team picture.

Congreve should as well, the way things are currently going I'd put him straight in for Ronald. But he's certainly good enough to be a part of the squad.

I'd agree Cotterill and Kyree Wilson could both do with another loan. I'd be quite happy with both players going to the same clubs on loan next season, to give them a bit of continuity (in the way Guehi had with us in his second season on loan with us, where he really pushed on) at club's playing decent football that have both been able to push other loans of ours into a first team picture.

What's happening lads! I thought I would drop in again to give you all an update on the loanees at Falkirk.

Lissah - my word. What a player. Getting country wide media praise now as it's becoming evident just how good he is. Widely tipped to be voted the leagues right back of the season and it would be thoroughly deserved. He was out for a few weeks with a recurring hip injury from his time with you in the academy. Apparently just a fatigue issue given the amount of games he's played at this physicality and intensity so hopefully nothing sinister. If he stays injury free in his career I would hedge my bets on him making Swansea a decent wad of cash. As I've said previously, I've watched many young players play in our leagues and he's up there with a Maddison in terms of the impact and consistency he's shown. We are in the Scottish Cup Semi Final on the 18th of April so one for you to tune in and watch him on the big stage. You normally see a stark weakness in a young player which is the reason a club like Falkirk have him on loan in the first place but I've still to see any with Lissah.

Wilson - He has continued to progress really well. Currently out injured which is a shame and we miss his intensity and work ethic. Final product is still very questionable so I reckon he will be heading out on loan next season again. I'd obviously take him back at Falkirk but your team may view a different style of play / league more beneficial to him. He has all of the raw attributes to make it in the game and is a very humble player on/off the pitch. The amount of work he does off the ball is incredible and is suited to the modern day winger who needs to press the life out of sides. Has such a high ceiling in the game but probably another season away of progression to make an impact with an English Championship side. I noticed someone mention about the fact he is subbed off at 60 minute mark and that's nothing to do with him tbh. We play a very high press style with the 3 midfielders behind the striker having to do a hell of a shift. A common sub we make is taking off both wingers around the hour mark to keep that intensity up.

Thanks for that update, i watched quite a lot of the U21’s over the last few years and always felt that Wilson had the right attitude and would pick up a few goals every season.

thanks for that report on the two players. I have liked the look of another player you have on loan - Ethan Williams from Man United. How do you rate his progress.

Ethan Williams is probably a technically better player than Wilson; however, he doesn't have the speed or strength of Wilson. He also doesn't have that natural enthusiasm and desire to work hard relentlessly which Wilson possesses. Williams probably has a fair bit to go in terms of physically growing and improving his in game IQ. He was probably the one we were most excited to sign given he had played first team friendlies with Man Utd.

On Congreve, I haven't watched too much of him unless it was against us but by all accounts he seems to be doing well and sits joint 2nd in the assist charts. I think he'd have done better in a more expansive side like our own. Dundee play in a low block and try to hit teams on the counter. I think he's probably further along in his development than Wilson and produces better numbers.
