• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I've never been as cold going to a football match as I was that day at Wembley.
I see your Wembley and raise you Brighton when we lost 4-1 I think it was Tammy Abraham scored for us, on halfway line with the Mrs and eldest, bastard froze all game and then after the game we couldn't get on a bus for a while they were all full think we managed to get on the 4th or 5th bus back to Brighton.

They are awful, absolutely nothing about them is enjoyable from their style of play to their manager.
I've got to say I find this all a bit bizarre

Scored the most goals, conceded the fewest and blew Bayern, Athletico and Villa apart. Opinions, hey?

if you enjoy watching the modern day version of hoof ball I guess it would appear bizarre.

A team that relies on set pieces isn't the team for me.

It was bbbrrrr cold ,
One of the few games after 10 mins i knew we would win .
Still have the Scarf & programme from the day .

But they don't just rely on set pieces, that's not an opinion it's just counting 😉

A third of their goals are from set pieces, each to their own. I find them an ugly team to watch.

To coin a phrase, if they were playing at the bottom of my garden, I'd draw the curtains.
