Liverpool vs Newcastle League Cup Final

It was always a major trophy but the only club that didn't recognise it by their fans was them up the road , i wonder why?.
Nearly a century ago was their last cup win.

They would have if Tinytears Gerrard hadn’t missed and they’d won.

Wankers.

Fair play to Newcastle.

Liverpool were dreadful but they took full advantage, would have been easy to freeze and get a bit spooked out by the lack of a challenge, but they stepped on the gas. Think the goal just before half time helped them, if they'd got in 0-0 despite dominating then some of the old demons could have resurfaced (how many times have we suffered from that?). But that settled them. At 2-0 it was game over, they were too good on the day. Hats off to them.

Liverpool didn't turn up, no shots on target or shots at goal in the whole of the first half, Salah's form has suddenly dropped off a cliff.

Newcastle fully deserved to win they were excellent from the first whistle till the last.👏👏👏

Having a break from watching the Blaze Channel are you, been an exciting weekend for you with 24hrs of UFO'S and Alien's on the telebox 😂

Delighted with the result, not the best week for Liverpool :ROFLMAO:
Not the best week at all for me Swans lost twice, Wales got a proper shoeing and Liverpool are out of the Champions League and lost the Carabao Cup final today
