I think everyone could see the sacking coming, they've been crap since selling two of their best players in the Jan window (lesson there for us) but I'm gobsmacked about Hodgson. He was well, well past it when retiring from Palace two years ago, and I don't think he's gotten any younger in the meantime.
I know it's temporary, but even so...

Looks as if club policy comes into this sacking .
I'm sure i read Struber said looks as if we need a complete rebuild , that's not gone down well with the Bristol City hierarchy who have tried to minimise their losses each season .

Steve Lansdown (of Hargreaves-Lansdown) is the owner of the Robins and Bristol Bears. The consensus around here is that the Bears are his love and his son looks after the football side. As long as they don't haemorrhage cash he seems not to bother. Always think of Bristol as football's greatest underachiever. A large rich city which has only ever had nine years of top flight football and none in close to 50 years.

Yes Steve Lansdown bank rolls Bristol City Ladies Football plus Bristol Hockey .
Invested £200 million plus in the last 20 years .
Money from Bournemouth sale of Antoine Semenyo has helped .

Heard a cracking stat that Hodgson has never faced Charlton in his long career, who are Bristol’s next opponent.
