• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Oh dear! And from yourself (from London of all places!) whom (on another forum) showed complete and utter disregard, knowledge and empathy for staff and general public's parking crisis within the grounds of Morriston Hospital.

NHSBT? And all those yellow English R.A.F Sea King helicopters, that used to leave local health boards hospital (since closed under devolved Cardiff government !) H.D.U?
I’m not from London. I live in London.

I’m not on any other forum. You’d have to show me what on earth you are on about.

Your post emphasised that neathjack was correct. I realise you thought the opposite but that’s because you don’t understand.

As an aside - what makes the RAF Sea King helicopters English rather than Welsh?

Jesus wept. These people walk amongst us every day.

Makes you think (as one of their fellow oddballs once posted).

Futility in the face of reality and overwhelming facts, and stark reality deserves a sarcastic thumbs up from others.

Please Sir can we have more?

Forced union? Welsh children seriously ill with cancer going to Great Ormond Street Hospital for specialised NHS treatment? Forced?

Welsh cancer patients going to Clatterbridge Cancer Centre for treatment? Forced?

Welsh eye cancer patients being referred from Singleton Hospital Eye Dept to Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre for vital specialised NHS care? Forced?

Welsh patients going to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital for various surgical specialties? Forced?

Welsh patients going to Newcastle Freeman Hospital….Manchester Wythenshawe Hospital…Cambridge Royal Papworth Hospital…London Harefield Hospital for heart surgery? Forced?

NHSBT? And all the etcetera's after that? Forced? Do you realise the money required and complexity to set up replacement-specialised services/surgical teams in Wales from scratch, WHEN it has for example, taken over a quarter of a century NOT to build a relief road?

And when all gone? FORCED into renegotiations with England armed with a begging bowl, by placing full trust into a bunch of yokels, whom would sink like a stone in the real world, along with even further relegation of Wales to the bottom tables where it currently stands for nearly everything.
The hospitals you’ve highlighted above are in the main world class centres of excellence, replicating them anywhere would be difficult as there aren’t enough experts in the fields to have multiple sites. That’s why patients from all over England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are referred there by their local consultants.
Welsh patients referred to these centres of excellence have their treatments paid for by local health boards in Wales. Why do we need to replicate services when we can commission them and pay for what we use.

You’ll be sorry conversing with that, he’ll have some YouTube videos and Daily Mail articles to bash you up with.

Futility in the face of reality and overwhelming facts, and stark reality deserves a sarcarsic thumbs up from others. Accountants come way before the (late Kath Rowley and Co) Singleton team????
What on earth are you on about now?

i suspect you realise your post was nonsensical so are pivoting to anything else.

The Singleton Hospital/Welsh oncology teams (tribute to the sadly missed e.g. the superb late Kath Rowley) truly know the score!!!

Nice one, I’ve been looking for a paywall remover for a while now, seems more and more articles on Wales online are premium.
The come up as premium articles on my phone and on the laptop, but they all read fine. I thought it was like that for everyone, but obviously not then.

If the Wing Stand Witchfinder General thinks something is a bad thing by default I’m in favour of it. He’s genuinely one of the stupidest people I’ve ever come across on the internet. And even in swans forum terms, that’s quite the achievement.
