If the Wing Stand Witchfinder General thinks something is a bad thing by default I’m in favour of it. He’s genuinely one of the stupidest people I’ve ever come across on the internet. And even in swans forum terms, that’s quite the achievement.
If Carling did stupid.

Please Sir can we have more?

Forced union? Welsh children seriously ill with cancer going to Great Ormond Street Hospital for specialised NHS treatment? Forced?

Welsh cancer patients going to Clatterbridge Cancer Centre for treatment? Forced?

Welsh eye cancer patients being referred from Singleton Hospital Eye Dept to Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre for vital specialised NHS care? Forced?

Welsh patients going to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital for various surgical specialties? Forced?

Welsh patients going to Newcastle Freeman Hospital….Manchester Wythenshawe Hospital…Cambridge Royal Papworth Hospital…London Harefield Hospital for heart surgery? Forced?

NHSBT? And all the etcetera's after that? Forced? Do you realise the money required and complexity to set up replacement-specialised services/surgical teams in Wales from scratch, WHEN it has for example, taken over a quarter of a century NOT to build a relief road?

And when all gone? FORCED into renegotiations with England armed with a begging bowl, by placing full trust into a bunch of yokels, whom would sink like a stone in the real world, along with even further relegation of Wales to the bottom tables where it currently stands for nearly everything.
Many of the these 'Welsh' patients might actually be older and infirm English patients (there's quite a number of them) that have moved from their beloved England to Wales. not realising that they now reside in the third world.

If the recent opinion poll is correct that's a cert. They're both socialist and indy supporting

Plaid Cymru on 43 seats the Greens on 10. That would give a coalition majority of 5.

I don't mind giving them a go for 4 years and see where the country is then. After that point I think Reform will have imploded.
Just to say, Yes I will be voting Plaid as well. At the moment they seem the best of a bad bunch, we may get the same old stuff, but Id rather them, than candidates I've never heard of from reform.

Finger crossed, they will deliver for Wales.

Burns patients from the South West of England being treated in Morriston 🤔
Indeed so! That is why the Swansea Bay University Health Board e.g. The (V.I.P) Singleton Hospital conference delegation(s) team members recognise the importance of a connected British NHS, as opposed to what many Welsh-Nat yokels want. The specialties that Wales is reliant on, and cannot do without is one long list.

And onto a local health board looking after itself, fearful of what 'Cardiff Bay' is capable of (or should that be incapable to be more to the point?) well that is exactly the reason why Mrs. SB was employed!

Swansea Reform candidate has binned it off.

I just saw that and had two thoughts.

1 - if he’s only now realised they’re a bunch of cunts he’s not been paying attention and

2 - his main reason for quitting is only being placed fifth on the party list for the constituency, giving him practically zero chance of being elected anyway.

He’s had a tantrum basically. He’s probably join Rupert Lowe’s lot now.

Now let’s just think? Wales starting off from scratch from zero-hour with a fully devolved NHS…..

The NHS is currently facing a consultant recruitment crisis, with up to 1 in 3 surgical and specialist posts in some regions remaining unfilled.

Add to that (during time in question) ‘purchaser/provider’ split that was noted during the exact time when Alan McGregor and Hamish Laing were operating in the very specialty that you mentioned.

Understaffing levels meant that an extra twelve doctors were required in that Morriston Hospital Dept, where it was undermanned by two-thirds. This was noted by Senate of the Royal College of Surgeons and Alan McGregor.

Resources have to be strategically spread throughout the entire U.K, because necessity dictates that! Bizarrely some idiots think that money grows on trees along with highly qualified surgeons and doctors! Wales's still depends on England after decades of Cardiff government, because there is no alternative. And never will unless catastrophe is the preferred choice.
