• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Doesn't seem fair to me

What is the point of punishing the club further?
It's all down to the owner.
Can't they punish him individually?
If they were cheating to better their position then fair enough.
But the owner is starving the club of money and letting it die. How is punishing the club with more points deductions going to help?

Totally agree ,
Appears very harsh tp keep punishing the club .
Their fans have been amazing .
There must be a fairer way to penalise clubs .

Exactly, plunging the club further in to crisis isn't helping anyone.

If the league actually stepped in sooner and went after the owner, the club wouldn't be in the position it is now.

The culprit for this mess is the one they should be going after.

This fit and proper ownership test they're supposed to have in place is a load of bollocks.

I mean on the other hand the preferred bidder is offering a pretty pitiful 6p in the pound. The main creditor is the owner so he is losing 94% of the money that he put into the club

Hope they beat Charlton tomorrow with hopefully Oxford and Pompey winning .

Imagine Charlton needing something from the last game of the season to stay up.
