• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

His body is still maturing and his minutes will need to be managed accordingly.

If you want to see an example of a player not being protected and being exposed to too much football at an early age, see Michael Owen

There are certain aspects of this forum I'm certainly not going to miss.
Especially after returning from serious injury which set back his development by more than an entire season to compound the "growing pains" issues

There will be occasions when he does need to be wrapped in cotton wool and with nothing riding on the final two games of the season there is absolutely no reason to rush him back.

Same goes for Inoussa, would be nice to see him back for the final home game but I won't lose any sleep if he isn't judged to be 100% before then and just rebuilds his fitness over the summer for a proper tilt at pre season.

Parker hasn't even played a full hour in any of the last 4. Can't say he's being overworked, Just looks like he might be injury prone - hope I'm wrong.

It does show what a difficult job Matos has with a squad that has obvious limitations.
When he's taken Parker off in the last few games he's been consistently criticised for not leaving him on.

Exactly, it’s common sense, these are young lads not machines

He’s being eased in to the rigours of first team football, it’s common practice with young players, especially out wide.

However you look at it, RB now is essential. We was all hoping we might not need to with Parker. But with his injury history, it's needs must now in the summer. And have Parker as option and ease him into the team.

I disagree, between Key and Parker and with Lissah and Galbraith also able to play right back at a push then its not a position that we are desperate for.

Our priorities in the summer have to be the right wing and central defense

Galbriath in my opinion is last resort option. Parker appear... Injury prone and Key is terrible defensively. I can't speak for Lissah. Options and all 👍👍

Parker is young and returning from a serious injury that had him out of action for more than a whole year
Key had a crisis of confidence but has looked back to his best in the games before his knock

I agree with Galbraith and Lissah being last resort options but the fact is that we have four players capable of covering that position
